imapsync error?

from the logging...

mkdir C:\Users\xxx\Desktop\migratetmp/imapsync_cache/staff-imap-srv.bristol.ac.uk/reysh/imap.gmail.com/reysh at bristol dot ac dot uk/INBOX/Deleted
Items/Exam periods/Easter 2009/Alternative arrangements/Deleted
Items/Exam periods/Easter 2009/Alternative arrangements: No such file
or directory; The filename or extension is too long at script/imapsync
line 1146.

I'm guessing this is because the file path exceeds the windows maximum
allowed. Is the only suggestion to turn off caching?
