{0} show that the message is 0 byte. I suspect a problem on host1.

Can you try with Mail-IMAPClient-2.2.9 or Mail-IMAPClient-3.25?

To try 2.2.9 you just go in the imapsync tarball extracted and
use file i2 instead of the imapsync file:

./i2 --host1 --user1 ...

The content of i2 is now:

BASE=`dirname $0`
perl -I${BASE}/Mail-IMAPClient-2.2.9 ${BASE}/imapsync "$@"
