I saw this problem with imapsync 1.398 when using
Mail-IMAPClient-3.27 (probably not relevant) against Exchange 2010
SP1, and noticed that if you look at the message numbers they are 50
apart (so message 41, 91, 141, 191 - but not in that order - might
be 2041, 591, 1291), and for me it happened for _every 50th message_
in some large mailboxes, after the initial sync.
If your problem is the same, it's fixed now in Rollup 3 -
