I think that's the problem. Maybe some messages were missing the
Message-Id header for some reason.

No more messages were transferred when I ran the command again.
As it turns out, the solution to the problem was interesting. Instead
of Tuffmail, I decided to go with Google Apps Premier Edition. It's
like Google Apps for Your Domain, but with more space and more
features. Google includes an IMAP migration tool as part of the
package, and it worked flawlessly and imported all of my messages to
my new account.
