about --authuser1

Hi/Bonjour,
I'm trying to see if I could use imapsync to migrate from Novell NetMail 
3.5 to somewhere else, probably Cyrus. The --authuser1 looks promising 
but I wonder if using an admin account is something specific to Cyrus or 
if it is part of IMAP?

When testing, I was able to connect using a user's account and password 
but not with an admin account (I did not use --ssl1 since currently the 
origin server does not support SSL). After connecting with the user's 
account, I got this:
