Please feel free to do so. Please send me the URL when you do so,
and I will add a link. There are a couple of minor clarification issues
that other people have sent me. I'm am traveling right now, but
I'll tell you when I get those fixed.

J'ai vu votre page, très bien faite, GNU Linux sur Macintosh. Je
propose d'y contribuer mon explication de l'utilisation de clavier
AZERTY Mac, qui se trouve à
http://www-sor.inria.fr/~shapiro/fr-mklinux-keyboard
(l'explication fait référence à MkLinux mais depuis je suis passé à
LinuxPPC et ça marche toujours).

Yes, that's OK. However, I plan to make some changes and additions to
that page soon, so you might want to wait a bit before you start
translating. More specifically, since I just upgraded to LinuxPPC R5,
I will put some R5 stuff there.

By all means, go ahead and make the translation.

Hello Etienne,
Of course, I have no problem at all with a translation of this information.
Be aware that this concept of using a epson printer is not very efficient
(I'm still using it though ...). If you hear about a better solution,
please inform me.

I would be glad to let you translate my HOWTO documents into French.
When you are finished and have them posted, please send me the URL to the

Yes, that would be fine. Note that I'm not completely finished with the
User Guide section of it, but I can e-mail you when those sections are updated.

I'm not that fluent in french but I've looked at the pages
you are refering to and I must say that you have a lot of
information there! A lot of good solid work. You have my
compliments.
Anyway, my "Penguin-HOWTO" for the Linux/m68k is distributed
as most other Linux things - free but GPL'ed. That is, as long
as you mention the origin you can do whatever you want with my
HOWTO. I mean, you should include a pointer to the original
page if someone is interested in the english (original)
version. Otherwise, you are free do any translation or change
you want.
Regards and good luck in France :)

Oui, bien sûr. J'espère qu'il y aura bientôt d'autres expériences
(pas forcément par moi), par exemple avec le nouveau boot-chooser

Oh yes!
I was just about to make these changes myself (I started, but then I
went on holiday). I would love to not have to figure out exactly where
to apply the conversion. Send me the a tarball (I will not be able to
look it over properly before next Monday, as I'm still on vacation,
just somewhere more connected, back in Norway.)

Of course! It's GPL for a reason :)
