On pourrait peut-être causer français sur cette liste ?

Pour ne pas utiliser XFS, il suffit de virer la ligne
 FontPath     "unix/:7100"
et de mettre des lignes
 FontPath     "/usr/...."
comme indiqué par François dans un autre message.

GDM repose sur X.org. Et en général, quand on redémarre GDM, ça
redémarre X.org en même temps, donc ça relit le fichier de
configuration de X.org et prend en compte les modifications apportées.
